3.1 Dataset

In the present study, we utilized multichannel seismic reflection data acquired by the Geological Survey of Japan, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST); the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Department of the Japan Coast Guard (JCG); Hyogo Prefecture; and the Osaka Soil Test Laboratory of the Geo-Research Institute (GRI). Figures 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 show the distribution of the seismic survey lines in and around Osaka Bay together with the terrestrial geology (Geological Survey of Japan 2012) and the gravity (Geological Survey of Japan 2004) and geomagnetic (Nakatsuka and Okuma 2005) anomaly distribution, respectively.
